Top 5 *Achievable* goals for Fall 2025
A lovely student recently shared her reason for learning to sew — it was on her “25 of 2025” list.
We got inspired and made our own realistic, bite-sized list of goals for the remainder of 2025.
Want an accountability buddy?? Email us your top 5 list and we will check back in with you at the end of the year. Everyone needs a check in sometimes. Seriously — email us :)
5) Finish a knit project
I took the beginner class at The Knit Cafe and it was so so nice to be on the other end of a learning experience. I’m just a few rows away from a hat and a scarf…
4) Finish reading 2 books
After a very long absence from reading during the pandemic (too stressed to maintain focus) I fell in love with reading again. Keeping it real light at the moment with rom-coms and murder mysteries. Hot tip - go to Doug Miller Books, tell him exactly what you’re in the mood for and he’ll give you a handful to choose from.
3) Exercise every morning (even 5 mins)
Even 5 minutes is winning. Right!? Some things that help me: set out clothes and yoga mat the night before, set a timer, have a podcast or tv show playing.
2) Complete dog training
I got a rescue pup! She’s a snaggle-toothed chihuahua-dachshund mix named Frankincense (Frankie). You may see her at the studio. She is super sweet, loves to go on bike rides in her backpack, and carry around her pink ball (or my sock) in her mouth. We are still working on being chill around new people, and being more than 2 feet from me. Luckily, we found some amazing folks at When Hounds Fly to help us out.
1) Host a dinner party
I think we’ve lost the art of dinner parties in favour of netflix and scrolling. I know I’m guilty of this. But think of any 80s or 90s rom com and all the juicy stuff happens at the dinner party! You meet new people, dig into intimate conversations and get to wear that thing that you have nowhere else to wear! I’m making lamb shanks, mixing friends and coming prepared with some conversation starter questions.

And again.
And again.”
