Top 5 Things That Have Been Keeping Us Busy!
AKA Why The October Newsletter is So Late! I love writing this newsletter, and love EVEN MORE when you reach out to tell me if it resonates / makes you laugh. However…it has taken a back seat this month as we are hard at work making the magic happen. Here’s the fun stuff we’ve been working on!
5) We built a ROOM
More machines, more ironing stations, more spaaaace to craft and sew. It means we can have One-on-One Lessons and Group Classes at the same time. It also means Sewing Club and some workshops can be even bigger and better!
4) Lots of new fabric!
Very few things get us AS excited as buying new fabric. Gorgeous new prints from Tula Pink. AND…french terry with matching ribbing. If you don’t know what that means…you will sooooon ;)
3) Spiffing up the exterior façade
When we moved in, our sign was a piece of paper in the window :/
We started from the bottom now we’re here (Painted the old ‘apollo tours’ sign, around the windows, and left of the door black! So chic!).
2) Planning out the holiday schedule
We LOVE the holidays. Specifically holiday crafting. We’re bringing you as many workshops as we could squeeze into the schedule. And they all come with a little extra holiday *cheer* (ie: an adult beverage).
1) Pacing ourselves
Trying to remember that we are our best selves after some good R&R and for whatever cosmic reason, right now is that time.
