Top 5 Ways to Stay *Fashionably* Cool!
Crank up Martha and the Vandellas because we got a HEAT WAVE! How do you look cool when you’re really really hot and sweaty? Grab a water, slow your pace and get some inspiration on how to slow your perspiration!
5) Big Hat, Baby
The shade of a big brim obviously protects you from sun burns / skin cancer / sun damage. It will also keep your body temp down: the trapped layer of air above your head insulates against heat transfer.

4) Keep it Loose + Flowy
Baggy clothes allow for air to circulate and sweat to evaporate. Think of how people dress in the hottest countries. Easy breezy!
3) Natural Fibres
Linen is the coolest, scientifically speaking. It’s hollow core absorbs moisture and heat and moves it swiftly away from the body. It looks expensive, stylish and refined, yes - even when wrinkly!
Cotton, bamboo, and silk are all natural and breathable, good choices.
Wool - if you can find “summer weight" or very thin wool - is amazing at regulating temperature; it absorbs moisture and traps odor causing molecules until they are washed away so it never smells like B.O. Magic!
2) Sunglasses
Sunnies are obviously cool, and are a super easy way to serve a lot of LOOK. Think big, bright colours, and rad shapes. And protect those peepers from sun damage too, because that’s actually a thing ;)
1) A Folding Fan
There’s something inherently elegant and vintage about a fan that you can pull out of your bag and voilà — save the day with!

You will make mistakes. And they are right too.”
