SUMMER CAMPS
Get ready for a fun and creative sewing adventure! ✨🧵
In these hands-on BEGINNER CAMPS, kids will learn real-life sewing skills while making new friends and creating cute projects in a supportive, judgment-free space where imagination can run wild.
There are TWO week-long camps:
Hand Sewing Camp: Campers will get crafty and very hands-on, learning essential hand-sewing skills, and general crafty magic as they make a mini-quilt, leather book marks, hand-dyed socks, pom-pom flowers, a weaving, and a DIY varsity shirt.
Machine Sewing Camp: Campers will learn about fabrics, tools, and how to operate the sewing machine with confidence while making: a headband, throw pillow, drawstring backpack and summer shorts!
Both camps aim to build confidence and strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and problem-solving — all while having loads of summer fun!
No experience needed — just bring your imagination! 🌈✂️
Skill Level: No experience necessary!
Class Size: 6 campers max.
How Long: each day is 5 hours with a 30-min. break
Where: The Neon Needle Studio @ Bloor + Christie (647A Bloor Street West)
Cost: $550 + HST Includes ALL materials
